Waitlist privacy notice
Last updated: 31 October 2026. This notice explains what happens to the information you give us when you join the FindLove.ai waitlist, take one of our dating tests or log in to your account. We keep it short and plain.
Who is responsible
FindLove.ai is responsible for your waitlist data. For any privacy question or request, write to contact@findlove.ai.
What we store

We do not ask for photos or ID at this stage, and we do not store your IP address with your signup. ID verification only happens later, before your first date, and will be explained separately.
Legal basis
Your consent, given with the checkbox when you join. You can withdraw it at any time by asking us to delete your data.
Where it is stored
Signups are stored in a private storage space hosted by our infrastructure provider Vercel, in its Paris (France) region, and the code that receives and updates them also runs in that Paris region. Vercel processes this data on our behalf under its data processing terms. Access is limited to the FindLove.ai team.
Emails
Joining the waitlist means we may email you about your own signup and your invitation when your city opens. Separately, and only if you tick the optional box, we send one short dating question a week, news about your city and a note when a friend joins with your link. When we start sending, emails are sent through Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France), acting on our behalf. Every one of these emails has a one click unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing does not remove you from the waitlist. Your clicks on the weekly questions are added to your matching profile.
Analytics cookies
If you accept analytics cookies in the banner, we use Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited) to measure which pages are visited and where visitors come from, without advertising features. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. When you join the waitlist, we also save the campaign or website that brought you to FindLove.ai (for example a UTM tag or the referring site), so we know which channels work.
Your account and login
Your account is your waitlist entry. There is no password: you enter your email on the My results page and, if it is on the waitlist, we send you a link that works once and expires after 15 minutes. Logging in sets one strictly necessary cookie (fl_sess) that keeps you logged in for up to 30 days. It is not used for analytics or advertising and needs no consent. You can log out, or log out of every device, from the account page. Login link emails are only sent when you ask for one.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent your data.
- We do not share your answers with other members. Other people never see your waitlist answers.
- We do not send weekly or news emails unless you opted in, and every email includes a one click unsubscribe.
The dating tests
If you take a test without joining the waitlist, your answers stay in your browser (local storage) and are not sent to us. They are only sent if you then join the waitlist, or if you are logged in to your account, in which case they are added to your private matching profile. Results are recomputed on our side from your answers.
How long we keep it
Until FindLove.ai launches in your city and you create an account, or until you ask us to delete it. If we decide not to open in your city, we delete waitlist data at the latest 24 months after you signed up.
Your rights
From your account page you can see your data, download it as a file and delete your account and all your data yourself, at once and for good. You can also ask to access, correct, export or delete your data, or object to its use, by writing to contact@findlove.ai from the email you signed up with. We reply within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.
